
State Police 53rd Cadet Class Graduation
INSTITUTE – After twenty-eight long weeks at the West Virginia State Police Academy, the 53rd Cadet Class will graduated on Friday, April 9, 2004. This graduation wass the final step for the third Cadet Class of 2003. Last year was the first time in the State Police history that three Cadet Classes began training in one year.

The State Police is funded for 664 uniformed Troopers. Currently there are 588 Troopers in the State Police. The addition of these cadets will bring the total number to 633. Of those 633 Troopers, we currently have 28 Troopers activated in the military.
