Testing Dates Announced for New Cadet Class

SOUTH CHARLESTON – In May 2007, the West Virginia State Police will begin testing for the 58th Cadet Class. Recruiting posters and employment brochures can be found at every State Police Detachment in the state and at institutions of higher learning. The West Virginia State Police has established several dates for testing in May. Phase I of the testing process, consisting of a physical ability and written examination, will take place at that time. The testing dates are as follows:

Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 9:00am – State Police Academy
Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at 9:00am – State Police Academy
Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 12:00 noon – Quality Inn, Morgantown
Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 9:00am – State Police Academy

Applicants may choose the date and location that is most convenient for them. Applicants are required to bring a completed application, photo ID and appropriate physical fitness attire. If an applicant currently has an application on file, they will not be required to bring another application.
