Troopers CAN Help “Can”paign.

STATEWIDE – Now that the political campaigning is over, the West Virginia State Police has begun its own “can”paign. As part of the Troopers CAN Help “can”paign the West Virginia State Police will be collecting non-perishable canned food items for local organizations across the state during the holiday season.

Each State Police Detachment around the state has placed a receptacle in the lobby area for the canned food items. Just before the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, the Detachment Commander will give the food to a local relief organization within the county. All canned food dropped off at each detachment will stay in that respective county.
