

Meth Lab
Discovered in Kanawha County
CROSS LANES
– Troopers from the
South Charleston
State Police Detachment discovered a methamphetamine lab at a Cross
Lanes
residence last night.
Troopers went to the Rocky Fork Road residence in search of Dowell W. Norris, 37,
a fugitive
from Putnam County. Norris was
eventually located hiding inside a closet.
While in the process of looking for Norris, Troopers discovered
numerous
materials used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine.
A search warrant was obtained on the
residence and the evidence was seized. A
stolen vehicle was also recovered at the scene.
Troopers arrested Norris on
the fugitive from justice
warrant and Steve Hammon, 25, on an outstanding warrant for a domestic
violence
petition violation. Charges are pending
regarding
the discovery of the meth lab.
